Dave ... it was a real pleasure getting to meet you face to face and to spend time talking about all sorts of interesting things. I've been putting more thought into how we might want frame the themes from OpenEd and make a compelling event on my campus. I think it could actually happen and make a difference in a place like PSU. Again, really enjoyed listening to your session and spending time ... I also appreciated your willingness to push me forward at the Railway!

Mmm, I got a nice juicy "my people" hit off of your reflections, Dave. I'm so sorry I was not up there (still sick at home), but posts like this give me some of that juice we all need. Thanks.

The people really are great and that's what makes the conference great. And you've always been one of them.

Hi Dave - appreciate your reflections on OpenEd.

Very insightful observation (and one that I'm surprised took this long for someone to make) about the substantial claim artists/authors make as a result of the original Berne Convention. I suspect the suggestion that default "on" for copyright is one that will resonate through the community for a while.
